Using The IMail Web Interface

We use email server software called IMail. IMail allows people to log onto their email accounts from anywhere with a standard web browser and connection to the Internet.

To access your IMail server, simply type the appropriate URL address into your web browser, and press the "ENTER" key. The URL address is:

Once you have accessed your domain's IMail login screen (see graphic below):

Step 1: Enter your Username in the blank provided. Your Username is your entire email address (ex: yourname@yourdomain.com). This is a change from the older version of IMail that we had previously used.

Step 2: Enter your Password in the blank provided. You should have received your password from your Webmaster or from a member of the ComeToBuy, Inc. technical staff. In the event you were already using IMail, the password has not changed.

Step 3: If you are the only one who uses your computer, you can check the boxes to remember your Username and password. If you share a computer or use a public terminal, leave these boxes unchecked.

Step 4: Click on the "LOGIN" button

Once you have logged into your IMail server, you will find that the main screen is fairly easy to navigate. The left side menu (see graphic below) gives you a quick look at your email boxes. If you have a message, there will also be a hyperlink that you can click to open the message.

In this example below, there are no email messages in the inbox.

Under the Email menu in the left column are options for setting up rules and preferences an entering email addresses into the Address Book.

The IMail help is very good, and a button to access the help information is found on the top right corner of all IMail screens next to the Log Out button. If you need additional help, please contact your Webmaster or your CTB123 Account Executive.
